The entire mine.
The mine was south of
where Historic U.S. 66 Bypass crosses the GM&O and east of the
lost engine servicing facilities in the GM&O railyard. The coal mine land has been reused by retailers of
stone and masonary products.

Note how some of the buildings and storage lots are on an angle. That is because they reuse the railyard of the Springfield Terminal Railroad. The black rectangle over the tracks was probably a modern coal tipple. Note the Mine Dump and waste pond north of the tipple.

I noticed in the aerial photo that the GM&O spur that joins Springfield Terminal used to go North and cross its mainline. This 1930 tpo map confirms that.
