The Southern Railroad, also known as the Air Line Railroad, built a line through Wayne City, Illinois, with the first passenger train service beginning in April 1882.

Once again, the platform shows which rectangle along the tracks was the depot. In this case, I think the platform was the white line about a block west of Main Street.

Because of the conveyor across the tracks, I verified that NS still owns this route. So, this is another example of a Class I railroad allowing a conveyor over their tracks.
