The building on the left is obviously the former NYC freight house because of the spacing of the freight doors. The building on the right is the former NYC depot.

At first, I was surprised that the Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society would be using a NYC freight house as its headquarters. But then I noticed that Shortsville is just southeast of Manchester, and Manchester was a major division point for the LV. I've already seen a railroad historical society use another railroads freight house because the price was right (IC historical society in NKP freight house in Paxton, IL).

The museum hosted excursion trains on the Finger Lakes Railway. But when I researched this train, I had to change the "hosts" verb to the past tense. In 2025, the railroad is using different towns.
