Postcard view of the old Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad passenger depot at Edgemont, Nebraska circa 1900. At one time this was a junction where trains would continue on the main line through Wyoming to Billings, Montana, up the High Line through the Black Hills to Deadwood and Lead.
Mike Bartels: Line from Edgemont to Deadwood abandoned in the 1980s. Now the George S. Mickelson Trail. Crews still change on the main line but BNSF wants to eliminate that. The current transportation department building: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dATPUC4Nh4BTZHj17 |
