Michael Emerson Avitt posted October 21, 2019 - Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy depot at Weston, Missouri. Larry Bauman: The caboose at Weston is actually a Union Pacific which was used for several years in St. Joe as a tourist information center on Frederick Avenue. When a new tourism info center was built at the East Hills Library the caboose was sold to a family that had a relative that worked for BN and had passed. It was then repainted in BN colors and dedicated to him. THe depot is now Weston City Hall which was moved back from railroad property. Weston was on the route that went North from Kansas City on the east side of the flood plain of the Missouri River.
