TVA They are considering reusing the turbine building to house a synchronous condenser. The existing generator would be reconfigured to function as a synchronous condenser. The inertia of the rotor helps stabilize the network's 60hz frequency. TVA plans to add 10gw of solar power to the grid by 2035. |
