Dale Verhaeghe Last year we had quite a few come in, along with tug/combos. It seems down quite a bit this year. Check out Saginaw River Images - by Todd Shorkey, he gets great photos of most of them that come in to Bay City.

Dale Verhaeghe In 2020, there were 203 commercial vessel deliveries on the Saginaw River. As of today, we are 16 deliveries behind where we were last year as of today's date. Some days there can be three freighters on the river at the same time, or we can go five days in a row without seeing any frieghters.

"USS Edson (DD-946) was a Forrest Sherman-class destroyer of the United States Navy, built by Bath Iron Works in Maine in 1958. Her home port was Long Beach, California and she initially served in the Western Pacific/Far East, operating particularly in the Taiwan Strait and off the coast of Vietnam. Her exceptionally meritorious service in 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin was recognized with the first of three Navy Unit Commendations.
