CP&StL = Chicago, Peoria & St. Louis
The Illinois Central depot was about a block east and 1 or 2 blocks north of this depot.

| Mike Coker posted Havana Depot Stan L. Maddox: They tore it down and put up a Hardee’s there. ☹️ Ken Morrison: This C&IM (CP&StL) train from Springfield. IC from Lincoln also came in this side. Other side was CP&StL to Jacksonville. Also, around to the left, there was a Y, masquerading as a connection between the C&IM and the IC. Since no trains passed thru this station, they all had to be turned to leave town. Mike Sypult shared |
The western branch to the south was abandoned by SP&StL. The other routes became part of the Illinois Midland.

I presume it was one of the long rectangles on the west side of their eastern route through here. I looked in the street running part and did not find a rectangle along the tracks that was long enough to be this depot.
