Andy Zukowski posted Chicago and Northwest Railroad Depot in Gilberts, Illinois C1910 Andrew Roth: The photo also shows the Elgin & Belvidere electric interurban railroad immediately to the left of the C&NW. The overhead trolley wire to the left of the depot. The electric line's combined depot and electric substation building can be seen in the distance just to the left of the C&NW water tank. The interurban was probably abandoned by 1939.
