Pittsburgh, PA: B&O Laughlin (GN) and Bloomfield (FY) Junctions

GN: (Satellite, the Three Rivers Heritage Trail northwest of here was built on the B&O right of way that went past the J&L Steel Mill on the left to freight houses and a passenger station close to downtown.)
FY: (Satellite, the cantilevered platform for the tower has been removed.)

B&O's mainline went across the Pittsburgh peninsula where they found a couple of river valleys that faced each other. (See topo map below for details.) The GN tower on the south side controlled a spur to downtown for their passenger and freight stations. The FY tower on the north side controlled a spur to their 38th Street Yard and industrial trackage along the river.

GN Tower

Darren Reynolds posted two photos with the comment: "B&O's 'GN' Tower (Laugalin Jct.) in Pittsburgh, PA. I have no information about this tower. Any stories or other information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."
Bryce Walat: I recall hearing that Laughlin Junction had one of a few “fully loaded” color position light signals on the B&O (had all aspects).

[Note that the train is a commuter train. Intercity trains used the route in the foreground to go through Pittsburgh.]

Not my photo, found online but you would be correct about the CPL’s.
Chris Dort: Ian Bowling if that is Laughing Jct signal it is no where near fully loaded. It is missing the added pilot lights there should be two more on the top and three across the bottom.
