| Anthracite Coal National Park posted St. Clair Coal Yard The St. Clair Coal Yard opened in 1913 on what had been swap land on the south side of St. Clair. The yard had 45.5 miles of track, could hold 2,861 cars, and at one time had 1,200 employees. The site was sold in 1868 and became the St. Clair Industrial Park.
