The town has another elevator a block east of the old one.

The UP branch that heads northwest on the west side of town is now Kyle Railroad. The Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad has trackage rights on the UP. And the Santa Fe and Rock Island used to have tracks that paralleled the UP through town.
