St. Bernice, IN: Aban/Milwaukee West Clinton Railyard and Wood Grain Elevator

Railyard: (Satellite, the wide line of trees just west of the town.)
Elevator: (Satellite)

The headhouse of the old elevator is to the right of the leg. (The Street View driver just drove through this town. None of the side streets that I care about were driven on.)

Victor Panetti posted three photos with the comment: "St Bernice, Indiana. Probably some of the last runs thru there in the mid 70s."
Conrad Baker: I believe the photo credits go to the late John F. Bjorklund via the Center for Railroad Photography and Art.
William Wheelock: St. Bernice was once a railroad town with a substantial yard and facilities. Known as West Clinton on the railroad. Yard was shut down in the 50's. Many of the Milwaukee old heads I worked with were from St. Bernice.
Tim Pouilliard: Good ol Terre Haute line. The supply route for coal and ballast. [I knew that the reason Milwaukee bought this line to southern Indiana was to get coal. I'm surprised that Milwaukee used Indiana dolostone and instead of granite from Wisconsin for their ballast.]
[Some comments pointed out the banjo signal.]

[The photo below is of the elevator in the above street view. This photo shows that the town must have still had a second old elevator in the 1970s.]
