Once again, since a large grain elevator is next to a Class I railroad instead of a shortline, it doesn't have rail service.
Today's grain elevator covers the land of two old grain elevators.
The town still has the siding that was used to serve the elevator. I noticed that something was parked at the end of the siding.
Sometimes, railroads retain these sidings to store MoW equipment. So I checked it out with Street Views. I did find this critter. I've never seen one of these before. I'm guessing it is some sort of general-purpose crane.
