It looks like Altona, IL. The depot was west of Depot Street between the mainline and house track. Part of the house track still exists.

The grain elevator has grown considerably from the wood elevator in 1940.

Even though the elevator is rather large, it has no grain rail service because it is on a BNSF mainline. But it does look like it might receive tank cars of fertilizer.

Once again, a grain elevator next to a Class I railroad might as well be next to an abandoned railroad. It looks like BNSF uses what is left of the house track for car storage.
