Chris Goepel: Cloverdale is now a part of Carol Stream and Bloomingdale. Depot pictured was constructed in 1888 and replaced in 1942. The 1888 depot was on south side of main track just east of Army Trail Road crossing.

Here is a snapshot of an IC Iowa Division condensed profile dated 1944 that shows Cloverdale and environs. Chicago (and milepost zero) are to the left on the diagram. The cross roads on either side of the depot are, from east to west, Gary Ave. and Army Trail Road. Given the location of the block signals in the distance and the house track, I believe the view looks east.
I have a vague recollection that this 1942-built IC Type B depot still stood when I began to visit a friend nearby in the late Seventies. The area is now highly urbanized, and the location known as Cloverdale is now part of Bloomingdale.
