"The facility was the largest coal-fired electrical generating facility in western Canada, with a total of six generating units." Those six units had the capacity of 2.2gw. But all of the units have been retired or converted to gas as of 2021. It now has a capacity of just 0.5gw. See this gem reference for per unit data. [gem] When it burned coal, it was sub-bituminous. That is why it Sundance was a mine-mouth power plant. The Highvale mine is now shutdown, and the draglines have been torn down.
