| Jim Arvites posted View from a bygone era of the Chicago & North Western Railway passenger depot at Eagle River, Wisconsin during the busy summer tourist season circa 1950's. The station, built in 1923, today is the Eagle River Depot Museum. (Eagle River Historical Society) Eagle River Historical Society posted Campers and more campers. In 1956 there were crowds arriving all the time. Be part of the crowd at the 100th Depot Centennial celebration June 30, 11-3. It has all the hallmarks of a great party - food, birthday cake and ice cream. No admission, no reservations, just come on over. Kent Rengo shared C&NW Eagle River WI depot from 1956.
