This was on the Milwaukee route that went to Streator, IL.

Noah Haggerty posted four photos with the comment: "The Milwaukee Road's depot at Cedar Point, Illinois sometime near abandonment. Depot still stands today, and is the only structure standing on the line. John & Roger Kujawa Photo, Thomas Dyrek Collection."

The mine operated from 1906 to 1924. The tipple had been removed by 1939, but the tailings pile still existed.

The grain elevator on the right side of the photo at the top survived.
