They do what Pollock used to do, building hot metal cars, ladles and other large fabrications. Tina Lefauve: It looks like the right side is all office employees and the left are the shop floor employees. It seems odd that half the ppl in this pic are wearing suits and ties or dresses. I'm not wanting to sound critical, just curious. Randolph Davis: Tina Lefauve Photo was Final Shipment December 9, 1983. Included were both office personnel & plant employees 📸☹️. For the record, I knew most of these men & women‼️ I’m 76 years old & retired. Rick Rowlands: Tina Lefauve Since the last job was a welded ladle, most of the machine shop workers had been laid off by then and only the welders and fabricators were left. Brian Olson: Today that building is Brilex Industries plant #2. A good size machine shop and all around great vendor. Randolph Davis: Very sad, indeed. WBP was located on Andrews Ave. Specialty product for steel mill industry; demise of local steel mills(YS& T) was the beginning of the end. |
