David Sebben posted The original C.B.&Q. depot in Moline, IL. Miles W. Rich: When was this depot replaced by the depot that was demolished to allow I-74 to be connected to the old Suspension bridge. Was this depot located on the south or north side of the tracks? This photo looks an a lot like a photo of the original Rock Island Lines Station and the reason I question this is that the Burlington in the 50s did not have two tracks running to the north of the Rock Island main line which was double tracked. |
