Moline, IL: Lost/CB&Q Depot

(Satellite, it was torn down to make room for I-74.)

The Rock Island Depot was a block west and south of the tracks.

The original C.B.&Q. depot in Moline, IL.
Miles W. Rich: When was this depot replaced by the depot that was demolished to allow I-74 to be connected to the old Suspension bridge. Was this depot located on the south or north side of the tracks? This photo looks an a lot like a photo of the original Rock Island Lines Station and the reason I question this is that the Burlington in the 50s did not have two tracks running to the north of the Rock Island main line which was double tracked.

Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy Railroad's Moline depot as seen in 1954.  It was razed in the early 1970's to make way for an exit ramp for the Interstate 74 bridge.
David Sebben: Jon Burns That's the DRI Line depot.

Todd Roberts: This was the Q's Moline depot that was sacrificed for an entrance ramp to the old I-74.
