Tim Starr posted Pittsburgh & Lake Erie (Pittsburgh, McKeesport and Youghiogheny Railroad division of P&LE) building an extension onto their roundhouse at Newell PA in 1918. This was a common practice as locomotives got bigger, but we don't often see them actually being built. (Pittsburgh University) |

Dave Kuntz posted Foundations and existing portion of the P&LE roundhouse in Newell, PA. Normally I take about 30 shots a flight and narrow down the best 4, but on this day my drone was flying at its max speed of 35 mph just to face the wind, so there was only one quick picture before I released the controls and let it drift back to me! |
