This vintage 1926 B&O caboose is positioned next to the CSX mainline in Rowlesburg, WV. Stenciled by Dwight Jones, this caboose is part of the Depot Museum, along with a Civil War howitzer.

Happy Labor Day! In years past, Rowlesburg, WV has sponsored a three-day festival to celebrate. I hope the tradition has continued and it's a big success this year. This vintage B&O caboose is adjacent to the town's Railroad Depot Museum.

"MK" tower Replaced a huge tower with a machanical
interlocking machine that had over 75 leavers!! This
tower was built in the 50s when the B&O changed
over to CPL Signals. It has a small NX machine for the Local switches and a small CTC machine for the Crossovers at Blazer. The tower closed sometime in 2012 or 2013??(I think 🤔)

I couldn't find the tower's location using historic aerial photos or topo maps. But I was able find it using Google Earth.
