Oberlin, OH: Preserved/NYC/LS&MS Depot

(Satellite, 56 photos)

Because of trees, I could not get a street view.

Bryan Monaco posted, also on Google Maps
The NYC (LSMS)  station at Oberlin,  Ohio, on the Norwalk Branch. I am fairly certain this line didn't make it past PC.
Steven Myers: This line was the NYC Norwalk Branch, It ran from Elyria to Millbury, Ohio via Oberlin, Wakeman, Norwalk, Bellevue and Fremont. This line was the original LS&MS main line between Cleveland and Toledo until around 1855, when they bought a competing line along the shores of Lake Erie. The new line became the primary route while this line became a branch. Much of its right-of-way is now a trail.
Steve LaConte: line was abandoned on Conrail day; never made it to Conrail

The interior is a meeting room, and it also functions as a trail head for the North Coast Inland Trail.
