Roger Kujawa shared his post of five photos and the comment: "Here is a photo that was in a home in Sparland, Illinois.  There is a Rock island car in the tipple but that doesn’t guarantee it’s on the Rock. Any ideas?"

It was index 286, so it was on the Rock Island.
In fact, the waste pond still appears to exist.

The key indicates that LW means long wall. I did not know that they did long wall back then. It says they backfilled with rock to provide support.
